If you want the ultimate Long Island board for all conditions up to a couple feet overhead I highly suggest you check out Petro’s, “Quadzilla” four-fin fish. But don’t stop here on the East Coast, my quad spent a month in Bali and handled almost every spot well at small to medium size and didn’t start to get squirly until I had it in medium Nusa Dua *with plastic fins (which at the main peak was probably a little past my caliber on the one day they said it was 5ft [Bali-size, which would have been huge for NY where when it’s overhead we say it’s 4ft, but nobody really calls that “big” here, more like “good”]).
